Buying and Selling Stocks

Gold INR Coin being used to buy and sell cricket stocks

Key Facts

There are two types of Assets: Up and Down.
The Up Asset allows one to earn when the value of the player’s fantasy stock rises, and the Down Asset allows one to earn when the value of the player’s fantasy stock falls.
You can buy and sell up to 1000 Stocks of any Cricketer on each Asset.

Buying and Selling Fantasy Stocks

We’ve made buying and selling stocks super easy on the platform, but here is some additional information you should know.
You may buy up to 1000 virtual Stocks of any Cricketer at the published buy price and can buy 250 stocks in a single transaction, providing you have the sufficient funds in your Unallocated Balance Wallet including trading fees. The maximum number of virtual Stocks you can buy in a single transaction may change from time to time in certain scenarios. For rare circumstances, we reserve the right to suspend the ability to buy virtual stocks, temporarily or otherwise for a specific Cricketer, or all Cricketers.
When you buy a virtual stock, the requisite amount is deducted from your Unallocated Balance Wallet, and the virtual stocks are transferred to your “Portfolio”. This Portfolio always displays the number of virtual stocks you own in all your Cricketers, and it also shows the current Unrealized Gain/Loss for the specific Cricketer. The Transaction History section presents a history of all your transactions on the Sixer platform. Every buy and sell order is displayed there, including the time stamp.
Similarly, you can sell up to 1000 Virtual Stocks of any cricketer at the published sell price and can sell 250 stocks in a single transaction. Once your order has been confirmed and completed, your Unallocated Balance Wallet will be credited with the requisite amount. The maximum number of virtual Stocks you can sell in a single transaction may change from time to time in certain scenarios. For rare circumstances, we reserve the right to suspend the ability to sell virtual stocks, temporarily or otherwise for a specific Cricketer, or all Cricketers.
There is a limited quantity of stocks that are available every day, so make sure you are keeping a track of the quantity!

In-Match Trading

In-match trading or trading in fantasy stocks of a player who is part of an ongoing match may or may not be available, which will be conveyed beforehand while a fantasy stock is being bought.
Similar to buying a fantasy stock, selling a fantasy stock may or may not be available for a player who is part of an ongoing game.
There is a limited quantity of stocks that are available every day, so make sure you are keeping a track of the quantity!
You may be restricted to only buying a certain number of stocks in each player per day or in total.

Super and Standard Assets

For selected players, you can buy two types of fantasy stocks depending on your preference, skill, and knowledge:
Standard Assets: 0-100 Scoring and Pricing
Super Assets: 0-200 Scoring, Pricing and Up/Down Positions
Standard Assets are not available for Women’s cricketers and are only exclusively available for some men’s cricketers.

Up & Down Positions:

The "Up" positions allow one to earn when the value of the player’s fantasy stock rises. You can buy "Up" positions in players if you feel that player will perform well in the upcoming games.
Here's an example to illustrate how the "Up" position works: Assume that the current price of a player 'A' is ₹50 per fantasy stock and you buy 100 fantasy stocks worth ₹5000 in Up Positions. If the player performs well in the next few matches and the price rises to ₹60 per fantasy stock, then you will get a profit of ₹1000 on your initial investment.
Similarly, the "Down" position allows one to earn when the value of the player's fantasy stock falls, based on your skill and knowledge of the game. You can buy "Down" positions in a player if you feel that the player will not perform well in the future.
Here's an example to illustrate how the "Down" position works: Let's say the current price of a player 'A' is ₹50 per fantasy stock. If you decide to invest ₹5000 by buying 100 fantasy stocks in "Down" positions, and the player doesn't perform well in the upcoming matches, causing the price to drop to ₹40 per fantasy stock, you would make a profit of ₹1000 on your initial investment.
